Upon arriving at this quaint hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location near Cader Idris, making it ideal for hikers like myself. the owner, Dawn, went above and beyond by providing a ride to the trailhead, giving me a head start on my journey. the accommodations were spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation after a long day of hiking. the small rooms, including the compact bathroom, were sufficient for my needs, though some may find them a bit cozy. the hotel offers a peaceful setting, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the surrounding nature. the garden area adds a lovely touch to the property, creating a serene environment for guests to enjoy. While the amenities are modest, including the basic essentials and a flat-screen TV, the value for the price is reasonable. the complimentary parking and no smoking policy add to the overall appeal of the hotel. Overall, a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.
